Last Friday in the rain my father's friend Allison Robb took me on an expedition to find a couple of ancient stone rows near Woods Hole, MA. I wanted to see and photograph them since my father had researched them. This particular one points down the hill to a water body, currently a swamp. The stones are flat on top, ideal for walking on, and covered with beautiful patterns of lichen. I also like the low bushes that encroach on the stones. I do love the bright green but they may end up a different color since I will paint from a black and white laser print.
